National Expert on waste management and disposal of inert and construction materials (study on Italian legislation and best practicies for the benefit of Morocco)

Overview

Conduct a sectoral study on waste management legislation for Morocco.

You have:

• Fluency in written and spoken French is required.
• Participation as a panelist in relevant seminars on Construction & Demolition Waste Management is beneficial.
• Experience in preparing sectoral studies related to waste management policies is preferred.
• Knowledge of Italian and European legislation regarding construction and demolition waste management is essential.
• Ability to adapt studies to the Moroccan context and needs is very important.

Preparation of a sectoral study on Italian and European legislation and best practices on Construction & Demolition Waste Management to favor the adoption of related policies in Morocco and effective provisions and guidelines for companies operating in the recovery and treatment of inert and waste construction management, including waste audits before demolition and renovation works of buildings The Study should be based on the analysis of the situation of the country and be adapted to Morocco sectoral context and related needs, as well as include technical and practical information and Italian best practices to be replicated in Morocco.

Took part as main panelist in the seminar on Italian/European legislation and best practices on Construction & Demolition Waste Management organized for Moroccan companies and institutions.

Support UNIDO ITPO Italy in identifying Italian companies to be visited during the study tour on Construction & Demolition Waste Management sector to be held in January 2023.

Fluency in written and spoken French is required.
