Overview

Assist with digitalization of administrative services and promote IT usage.

You have:

  • Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent degree is required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of large information systems projects, database management, coding software and application support are required.
  • Proven experience in the design and implementation of activities aimed at strengthening the basic or intermediate skills of the public and at fostering the growth and development of new skills, through targeted training or coaching.
  • Knowledge of French language is mandatory.
  • Mastering of Sango as national language is a must.
  • Knowledge of English will be an asset.

Result of Service Reinforcement of the capacity of the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Social Protection and Vocational Training’ employees as well as promotion of a work environment in line with latest Information Technology and communication standards.

Work Location BANGUI

Expected duration 4 months as from the date of signature of the contract.

Duties and Responsibilities Among other duties, assist the Ministry of Labour, Social Security et Continuous Learning in its process of digitalization of its administrative services, dematerialization and training on the usage of internet-related systems while creating awareness among staff members about the opportunities offered by the latest Information Technology and communication tools.

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent degree is required. Technical training certifications in information systems are desirable, as well as Capacity building qualifications. Experience: •A minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience in the planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of large information systems projects, database management, coding software and application support are required. •Three (3) years of experience providing services in planning, design, development, implementation and maintenance of computer systems, data center management and backup/recovery procedures is desirable. •Experience in managing and overseeing large centralized and decentralized institutional systems is required. •At least three years of experience in the organization of training. •Demonstrated experience in digital skills, learning needs assessment, training, etc. in the Central African Republic. •Proven experience in the design and implementation of activities aimed at strengthening the basic or intermediate skills of the public and at fostering the growth and development of new skills, through targeted training or coaching. •Proven track record of engaging with beneficiaries in underserved areas and focusing on efforts to build entrepreneurial communities. Language: Knowledge of French language is mandatory. Mastering of Sango as national language is a must. Knowledge of English will be an asset.
