You have:
- Advanced university degree in Public Health, Engineering, International/Global Health, Supply Chain Management.
- At least 8 years of experience working in emergencies, capacity building, facilitating and managing supply and logistics.
- Experience working with Department of Health Services and Ministry of Health and Population is an asset.
- Fluency in English and local working language is essential.

The purpose of this consultancy is to provide technical support to the DoHS/MoHP and its concerned divisions in strengthening the COVID 19 response supply chain. The consultant will support the management of supply and logistics of the COVID 19 response commodities. Since this requires very close coordination with the MoHP and its concerned divisions, a supply consultant is required to be positioned in the MoHP to be able to support the MoHP in delivering high impact supply chain services.
Specific Tasks:
a. Support in planning and forecasting of essential health supplies for COVID 19 response including
essential medicine and COVAX
b. Support inventory control, management and stock monitoring using manual and online system
c. Support ABC analysis of medicines and other commodities
d. Support in the preparation of regular demand and supply report
e. Support in the development of documents required for medicines and commodities including
COVAX and support in supply tendering
f. Support in eLMIS linkage to the dashboard supported by UNICEF to keep tract of supply and
distribution especially COVAX
g. Support DoHS/MoHP coordination with relevant partners for strengthening COVID 19 response
supplies
Duration of the Assignment:
The total duration of the assignment is for 11 months starting from 01 January 2021.
