Contract

This is a Consultancy contract. More about Consultancy contracts.

UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.

Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

For every child #Child Friendly#

For 70 years, UNICEF has been working on the ground in 190 countries and territories to promote children's survival, protection, and development. We support child health and nutrition, good water and sanitation, quality basic education for all boys and girls, and the protection of children from violence, exploitation, and AIDS.

UNICEF in China promotes policies and laws that better deliver on children’s rights. The overall purpose of UNICEF China’s Social Policy programming is to ensure that fewer children in China are subject to multidimensional poverty, by being better able to access affordable social protection mechanisms and quality social services. This will allow children’s rights to be protected – particularly the most vulnerable and those lagging behind - to better achieve their educational potential, be guaranteed of improved health outcomes and assume their role as productive members of their society, community, and family in the rapidly transforming environment in China.

The East Asia and Pacific region is one of the world’s most urbanized, marked by rapid growth and burgeoning social, economic, health and environmental challenges, affecting the well-being of children. UNICEF’s expanded role across various sectors and governmental levels in the region is pivotal for fostering environments where urban children can thrive safely and sustainably. In the region, UNICEF has been at the forefront of promoting the Child Friendly Cities (CFCs) concept since 1999, generating growing interest in recent years with more than 150 Asian cities involved. The UNICEF Child Friendly Cities Initiative (CFCI) has supported cities and communities in their commitment to implement the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) and achieve results for all children.
