National Consultant - Data Monitoring and Visualization

Result of Service- The Results Reporting Dashboard in alignment with the Country Framework developed and finalized; - Common Country Analysis (CCA) Dashboard dynamically updated through ongoing data monitoring; - Joint Work Plan dashboard updated; - Survey to collect Output level progress in preparation of RG Review meetings; - Indicator progress and financial analysis; - Training in Power BI for the RCO team organized; - Gender and Youth scorecards updated; - Support provided to Agencies with visualization of various data products provided; - Progress activity reports.

Duties and Responsibilities - Update and maintain the information dashboard developed with Power BI on a quarterly basis, in alignment with the Country Common Analysis (CCA) and the UN Development Cooperation Framework (UNDCF). Create a repository with related data on SharePoint; - Update and restructure the Joint Work Plan (JWP) dashboard with collected data from UN agencies through the UN Info portal in alignment with the new Country Framework; - Use Power BI to include results from the Annual Results Reporting in the UN activities dashboard; - Develop and provide relevant visualization materials for the Annual Report; - Provide visualization materials or a dashboard developed with Power BI, on Indicator progress analysis and financial analysis; - Assist in updating the Socio-economic response portfolio with relevant data collected from agencies and provide relevant visualization material; - Collect survey results submitted by the UN agencies on Output level. Provide summarized material based on the results; - Support the Youth and Adolescent Thematic Group with: · the development of the annual work plan, and implement relevant activities, · improve results on the Scorecard indicators, and, · by the end of the year, to assess results towards the implementation of the updates on Gender and Youth; - Provide substantive support to the RCO team with data mining, and subsequent modeling, analyzing and visualization with Power BI; - Equip the RCO staff with skills in Power Bi that will enable them to prepare, clean, transform and load data in Power BI; model and visualize data; create reports and schedule automated refresh of the reports; create/update Dashboard in Power BI; manage files and datasets; etc. - Provide support to UN Agencies with visualization of various data products.

Qualifications/special skills Bachelor's degree in Social Science is required Minimum 3 years of professional experience in designing and implementing Power BI platforms; Experience in research and data collection in the local context, desirably on sustainable development topics; Good knowledge of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the SDGs, and familiarity with their implementation at the country level is required. Languages Fluent written and oral (technical level) of English, Romanian and Russian languages is required
