Contract

This is a Consultancy contract. More about Consultancy contracts.

UNICEF works in some of the world’s toughest places, to reach the world’s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.

Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

For every child, access to quality health

The government of Guinea-Bissau and its partners have decided to converge their efforts to accelerate progress towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG3), regarding “Good Health and Well-Being”. Therefore, one of key steps proposed for the renewal of the engagement and strategic initiatives; for the improvement of access, coverage, and quality of care for the population; is the organization of a Primary Health Care (PHC) Forum from 6 to 8 February 2023. “The Forum is expected to define concrete short-and medium-term actions to accelerate PHC strengthening support systems and to define key strategies for improving the levels and the sustainability of the minimum level of financing needed to deliver effective packages of essential and lifesaving interventions primarily through well-coordinated community and referral care within district.” The photos will reinforce communication and visibility efforts to inform and engage national and international partners around primary health care revitalization in Guinea-Bissau, as well as to create awareness among the population.

For these reasons, the UNICEF Guinea-Bissau Country Office, as a strategic partner of the MoH wishes to recruit two Professional Photographs to ensure coverage of the Primary Health Care (PHC) Forum from 6 to 8 February 2023.

Objectives: The goal of the proposed contracts is to support UNICEF Guinea-Bissau mandate to effectively communicate for the well-being of children, women, families, and communities in the country. This includes three objectives:
