Hours: Full time, with some weekend and evening working required to support the humanitarian programme delivery
Pay: £1100 - £1300 GBP gross per month (dependent on experience)
Location: Amman, Jordan
Duration: Until end of 31st of March 2025 (funding pipeline dependent) with potential extension

We are seeking a motivated Administrative Officer to support the effective day-to-day running of UK-Med’s operations in Amman, Jordan. This is a national post open to Jordanian nationals only.
You will provide administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth functioning of the UK-Med office and guesthouses in Amman. Working closely with the Finance and Administration Manager, you will assist with office coordination, travel arrangements, documentation management, procurement support, and general office duties. You will also help coordinate the arrivals and departures of international staff, maintain filing systems, and ensure the guesthouses are well managed and stocked.
Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in administration or logistics, preferably within an NGO or humanitarian organisation. You will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident in handling multiple tasks while supporting colleagues and visitors. Strong communication skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude are essential.
You will be professional, collaborative, and compassionate, with a commitment to learning and supporting UK-Med’s humanitarian mission. Fluency in both Arabic and English will be an advantage.
