Contract

This is a Consultancy contract. More about Consultancy contracts.

UNICEF is committed to diversity and inclusion within its workforce, and encourages all candidates, irrespective of nationality, religious and ethnic backgrounds, gender identity and sexual orientation, as well as persons living with disabilities, to apply to become a part of the organization. UNICEF’s office is accessible to a certain extent, and employees are entitled to reasonable accommodations that are needed for ensuring equitable working conditions.

UNICEF provides support to the Republic of Serbia’s reform processes to ensure that child rights are realized for every child in the areas of early childhood development, education, child protection, youth and adolescent development. Specifically, we are providing evidence, modelling solutions that can be brought to scale, and engaging in continuous policy dialogue to make sure that no child is left behind. At the same time, our task is also to be the independent voice of children – to point out the gaps, breaches and violations of child rights.

UNICEF Serbia is seeking consultants to provide multimedia journalistic services in Serbian and English languages for documenting UNICEF Serbia Office programmatic activities and impact on children, adolescents, youth and families.

Under the direct supervision of the UNICEF Serbia Communication Officer, the consultants will produce human interest and/or feature stories in text and video formats in English and Serbian languages. The final products will be in line with UNICEF’s visibility and brand guidelines.

  • Include photographs (provided by photographers hired by UNICEF) and accompanying captions.

Deliverables:

  • News notes, feature and/or human-interest stories, 300-700 words in length, in both Serbian and English languages.

Copyright and production files

  • All materials developed by the consultant will become UNICEF copyrighted materials. This implies that the consultant will refrain from using any copyrighted materials in the products, unless approved by UNICEF project managers.
  • UNICEF requires, for all produced videos, that all source files of projects be delivered, and not just the final output.
