You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-5 years of design experience, ideally in a global, non-profit, social impact, or agency setting.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating digital design, layout, brand application, and data visualisation.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour, and accessible design.
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging visuals.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and accuracy.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with international teams and multicultural contexts.

The MultiMedia Designer, VisionFund International plays a central role in delivering high-quality visual and audio-visual communications across VisionFund International. This role ensures consistent, on-brand design output for a wide range of audiences—including internal teams, funders, regional offices, and external partners—while supporting VisionFund’s mission to bring financial inclusion to the world’s most vulnerable children, through equipping their families and carers with financial tools.

Major Responsibilities
Design & Creative Development (10%)
Note: The design function outlined in this section (Activity 1) is broken down in Activity areas 2, 3, 4 & 5, below. The % of time allocations in sections 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 together represent the hands-on design time allocation – but may vary per actual area (sections 2, 3, 4 & 5) according to workflow at any one time. The focus areas for design are not limited to those mentioned in the Activity sections.
- Produce high-quality visual design across digital and print formats, applying VisionFund and World Vision brand guidelines.
- Develop effective layouts and visual concepts that simplify complex information, including impact data and financial product details.
- Create reports, presentations, infographics, social media assets, campaign materials, and other multimedia collateral.
- Generate creative solutions tailored to audience profiles and communication goals.
- Develop and maintain branded templates, toolkits, component libraries, and reusable design systems to support consistent communication across the organisation.
- Create and maintain ‘suites’ of pitch decks for funder teams.
Data Visualisation & Storytelling (10%)
- Translate complex data, research findings, and program information into clear, engaging visual narratives.
- Design infographics, charts, diagrams, dashboards, and other data-led visuals for impact reporting, funding proposals, and product communications.
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and responsible representation of data in all visual materials.
Digital Design & Web Assets (15%)
- Design digital assets including social graphics, banners, email creatives, landing page visuals, hero images, and digital ad content.
- Support the development and upkeep of website visual assets, ensuring alignment with brand and UX guidelines
Product-Line Communications (15%)
VisionFund provides a range of unique financial products, enabling clients, and their families, to become resilient and self-sufficient. Examples include savings-related products, and insurance.
- Adapt and localise global assets for regional teams and diverse cultural contexts.
- Work with product owners and subject-matter experts to visualise financial products, tools, and user journeys.
- Create and maintain Product-Line ‘suites’ of pitch decks for funder teams
Funding & Donor-Focused Communications (15%)
- Develop compelling visuals for funder proposals, pitch decks, impact summaries, donor updates, and grant-related materials.
- Ensure funder-facing materials meet required formats, communicate clarity and professionalism, and align with brand standards.
Video editing and media graphics (10%)
- Create and edit short- and long-form video content for digital marketing, social media, web, events, and internal communications.
- Develop motion graphics, animated infographics, titles, banner ads and visual overlays to enhance storytelling and data presentation.
- Translate data insights, campaign messages, and program outcomes into engaging video narratives and dynamic visual content.
- Ensure all video and motion assets adhere to brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and platform-specific best practices.
- Optimise video content for multiple channels (e.g. social media, websites, presentations, paid campaigns).
Project Engagement & Management (15%)
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Work closely with Marketing & Communications, Regional Teams, Impact Teams, Funding Teams, and subject-matter experts to interpret briefs and deliver effective design solutions.
- Present creative options, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions while maintaining design integrity.
- Liaise with the World Vision Design Team to ensure connectedness across brands.
- Collaborate with external vendors, designers, illustrators, and printers, monitoring quality and delivery
Project & Workflow Management
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, using the M&C Team workflow management tool, hitting deadlines, and communicating progress within team, and to internal clients.
- Support the Director of Marketing & Communications with creative strategy, campaign development, and ad hoc tasks.
- Contribute to the adjustment, as needed, and refinement of creative and design processes.
Quality Assurance & File Management (5%)
- Prepare final artwork for print and digital delivery, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and technical readiness.
- Manage version control, file organisation, and asset libraries for smooth workflow and future updates.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure all outputs meet brand, accuracy, and usability standards.
Team Collaboration & Engagement (5%)
- Actively contribute to a positive, creative, and collaborative team culture within the Marketing & Communications team, sharing ideas and supporting joint initiatives.
- Participate in regular team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and cross-functional planning to strengthen alignment and enhance the overall quality of communications outputs.
- Contribute to and play an active part in the Christian aspects of the organisational and team culture.
- Support knowledge-sharing by contributing to team learning, documenting best practices, and help streamline processes that improve collective efficiency and creativity.
