Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional technical support to the ABG Health Information Officers in ensuring timeliness of Reporting from health facilities to eNHIS or any system that is endorsed by the AROB Government.
  • Provide professional technical support to project teams and ABG Health Information Officers executing the WVI Monitoring and Evaluation functions to improve their professional capacity in implementing programs that serve the poor more effectively and efficiently.
  • Supportive supervision and training; During regional planning processes, region -level ABG Health staff will determine a feasible schedule for conducting regular supportive supervision visits to health facilities, prioritizing joint visits where possible.
  • Collegial support provided by ‘nominated supporters’ at District level. Nominated supporters will provide additional levels of peer support in assigned Districts, encouraging and advocating for the frontline HCWs who deliver essential services to some of the most underserved areas.
  • Work with ABG Health coordinate planning and project activities with other health sector investments in each province, districts including other PATH - funded Immunization Support Services Providers.
  • Work closely with other World Vision PNG project and consortium partners leverage existing health, WASH, and education programming to mobilize communities and generate demand for immunization, using the NDOH-endorsed Healthy Islands concept.
  • Guide Project Coordinator in Area Programs to prepare for DIPs, preparation of annual donor reports and semi-annual donor reports, ensuring the quality of the programme implementation as per the Project design and strengthening the other components in the Programme/Project in alignment with LEAP Standards.
  • Provide technical input and support to the Health and Nutrition, ensuring consistency and cross-learning mainstreamed in various grants under the portfolios.

  • Coordinate and support project inceptions in collaboration with M&E and Sector Coordinators, Operations, GAM, and Area Programs
  • Maintain database of immunization for under 5 currently receiving vaccination in AROB under the AIHSS project.
  • Supporting the project coordinator compiles and submits on monthly basis data, quarterly performance framework update report, semiannual and annual reports.
  • Prepare and submit activities completion report on all activities conducted each month
  • Prepare and make presentation on progress care during learning and reflection and as required
  • Support with Most Significant Change monitoring in area program - collection & write-up of stories and pictures from the Projects to be used in World Vision publications and for use in media relations

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION/SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
