KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

Under the direct supervision of Sr. Programme Associate (M&E) and the overall supervision by the Head of Programme and Field Office in Maungdaw, the incumbent will perform the following duties: -

  • Ensure the case entry in the system (Sugar_CRM) and support Head of Programme in assigning the cases to the respective staff by the time the cases are received from HoP and HoFO, coordinate head of unit based on the cases to be able to assign to relevant staff. Review the CEM system and provide the technical aspects whenever there is any adjustment required in the policy.
  • Verify the referred CEM cases and assign the respective staff in assigning the CEM cases for further verification and follow up the progress for timely submission to close the verified cases.
  • Follow up with the Cooperating partners to ensure that the referred case closure are properly addressed into action and make sure that the beneficiaries start receiving their entitlement.
  • Provide the technical guidance to the staffs on handling the complex cases and conduct joint visits with respective activity focal to proper identification and action of such cases.
  • Produce monthly CEM statical report with the guidance for further improvement, status of pending cases and the action plan.
  • Assist Sr/Programme Associate in providing orientation to enumerator for the type of data collection, tools and guidelines, especially for PDM, baseline and endline survey.
  • Conduct regular monitoring visits (DM) and assist Sr/Programme Associate in providing recommendations to the management on effectiveness of the programme including community needs are being met, targeted villages/projects are matched with operational guidelines, households/beneficiary or participant selection is in line with designed criteria, and the beneficiaries are receiving right quantity/quality of food or cash.
  • Assist Sr/Programme Associate in liaising with cooperating partners and internal counterparts to gather feedback and comments to support programme reviews and improve services.
  • Assist Sr/Programme Associate in providing guidance for cooperating partners on WFP operational practices, monitoring tools and methods in order to support them to complete self-monitoring tasks as well as CEM follow up mechanism are established.
  • Manage daily field team planning for monitoring staff assigned and ensure that their trips are arranged in accordance with operational needs.
  • Perform any other related duties as required.

STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Completion of secondary school education. A post-secondary certificate in the related functional area is desirable.

Experience: Five or more years of progressively responsible work experiences with Minimum of 1 year experience in humanitarian areas. Experience in Protection, Gender and CEM environment is an added advantage.

Language: Intermediate in both oral and written communication in English and Myanmar languages are required. Communicable in local dialect at the duty station will be an added advantage.
