You have:
- Having experience in monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
- Graduated from or completed a master's degree in Social Sciences departments of universities.
- Knowledge of gender equality and women’s rights issues.
- Knowledge and experience in qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

The UN System-Wide Gender Equality Acceleration Plan (GEAP) was launched on March 7, 2024 by the UN Secretary-General who called on UN entities to ensure its full implementation across two phases. The GEAP is focused on culture change and concrete action. In line with this, the work around the GEAP is driven by five key pillars: 1) a clarion call; (2) gender-responsive leadership; (3) accountability measures; (4) resourcing; and (5) action with all stakeholders for a systemwide pivot to gender equality.
The Secretariat of the Gender Equality Acceleration Plan is housed within UN Women. It supports and monitors the implementation of the GEAP and fosters cross-UN collaboration to support system-wide accountability, leadership and work on gender equality and women’s empowerment.
The Online Volunteer will provide support to the GEAP Secretariat in monitoring and reporting on GEAP implementation.
The GEAP Secretariat is looking for an Online Volunteer who will perform the following responsibilities:
• Developing and designing monitoring and reporting tools - at the beginning of the assignment • Collecting and analyzing data on GEAP implementation - weekly • Preparing reports and briefs - biweekly • Preparing progress report - at the end of the assignment
Having experience in monitoring, evaluation and reporting. 2. Graduated from or completed a master's degree in Social Sciences departments of universities. 3. Knowledge of gender equality and women’s rights issues 4. Knowledge and experience in qualitative and quantitative research techniques. 5. Proficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
