You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline is essential
  • Minimum two years' experience in NGO/INGO, preferably with monitoring and evaluation
  • Excellent command of Myanmar & English for report and email writing
  • Must have experience in project monitoring and evaluation, needs assessment and report writing
  • Ability to travel frequently to targeted area. Valid Motorbike license is an asset
  • Must have excellent computer skills – Word, Excel & Power point and KOBO
  • Good knowledge of International HEA Standards such as Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS)
  • Ability to communicate within a cross-cultural environment essential
  • Experience in emergency response situation is preferred

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct regular monitoring visits and provide feedback for the improvement of project implementation

  • Visit all project area and participate with the project team in the participatory evaluation
  • Collect monitoring data, analyze collected data and produce monitoring report based on the monitoring plan for the respective operational areas
  • Give feedback to project team on findings and recommendations

Assist in developing Monitoring and Evaluation Framework and Action Plan

  • Develop monitoring and evaluation plan together with the respective project team in consultation with Project Manager
  • Assist the project manager in identifying and developing the monitoring framework and guidelines
  • Ensure an appropriate monitoring plan is being developed and that each activity is being monitored according to the motoring plan
  • In consultation with the project manager, provide training for the project staff on the usage of monitoring tools based on the WV and donor monitoring standards

Apply updated Monitoring Systems for Data Management and Reporting System

  • Collect, analyze, and compile quality data on time.
  • Submit reports to relevant teams as scheduled.
  • Support communities in achieving goals and developing monitoring systems

Work on knowledge management by maintaining project documentations and dissemination of reports

  • Develop relevant M&E databases for efficient and effective data entry, analysis and reporting.
  • Work on knowledge management by disseminating the monitoring and evaluation findings, recommendations, and lessons learnt from monitoring and evaluation

KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline is essential
  • Statistics and Economics is preferred and master's degree in related fields is preferable.
  • Minimum two years' experience in NGO/INGO, preferably with monitoring and evaluation
  • Ability to travel frequently to targeted area. Valid Motorbike license is an asset.
  • Must have experience in project monitoring and evaluation, needs assessment and report writing
  • Excellent command of Myanmar & English for report and email writing
  • Experience in emergency response situation is preferred
  • Lead in the developing project M&E tools (e.g. data collection forms, databases, supervision checklists) include required standard indicator
  • Must have excellent computer skills – Word, Excel & Power point and KOBO
  • Ability to communicate within a cross-cultural environment essential
  • Strong commitment to work in a team environment
  • Good knowledge of International HEA Standards such as Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS)
