NRC has obtained its registration in Country in 2021 and is planning to implement activities within an integrated programme which includes Rapid Emergency Response (Shelter/WASH NFI distribution), Emergency Education, Information Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) and exploring other programmatic possibilities mainly Food Security and Livelihoods FSL. NRC has set-up the basis of a country office, having established an office in Pemba and a field office in Mueda district and is rapidly recruiting staff alongside scaling up activities. There is a particular focus to implement in some of the hard-to-reach areas which have particular access constraints, especially due to the conflict.
