UNFPA is seeking one Online Volunteer with strong communications skills to support the efforts to promote visibility of UNFPA and its priority issues in Laos, particularly key issues around adolescent girls rights, and youth positive engagement in the society. To this end the Online Volunteer will propose innovative ways to engage with the audience on Facebook and encourage them to comment, send questions, share photos and stories, engage in campaigns. The Online Volunteer furthermore will suggest names of influencers and get in touch with them in Lao PDR (instagram, musicians …) and obtain their contributions through images, videos, quotes, human stories to SRH/gender/youth rights.

The Online Volunteer will support the efforts to promote visibility of UNFPA and its priority issues in Laos, particularly key issues around adolescent girls rights, and youth positive engagement in the society. The online project aims at engaging youth audiences (influencers) to talk about sexual & reproductive health rights, gender, youth issues based on their opinions, their background, experiences, and fears. It has the goal of reflecting the realities coming from the target audiences. We hope through this project to have examples of youth and women sharing their stories with us, their actions for empowered adolescents and young people and improved sexual and reproductive health and gender equality in Laos.
