Are you proficient in methods and practices of microbiological analysis and highly skilled in microbiology techniques, methodology, equipment and supplies?

  • Role: Microbiologist
  • Hours: Work will be full-time. Immediate start required, with a minimum of 6 weeks availability.
  • Pay: £3,150 to £3,300 per month based on experience
  • Duration: Up to 3 months initially – ideally open to longer period.
  • Location: Ukraine (Various locations)

This role is part of our Ukraine Programme and will be carried out within Ukraine

Applicants must have an existing right to enter Schengen Zone countries in order to transit to Ukraine e.g. citizenship/residence of a Schengen Zone country, or an ETIAS eligible country.

About the position

We are seeking a microbiologist with outstanding research and analytical skills to help support in delivering humanitarian aid within our current emergency response programmes in Ukraine.

Requirements

You will perform laboratory analysis on all materials after appropriate sterilization in two surgical hospitals in Lviv and Dnipro in Ukraine.

You should have the technical and scientific expertise and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

You will have a positive and flexible problem-solving approach and be willing, able, and ready to deploy to support all UK-Med programmes and projects.
