You have:
- University degree in Development Studies or Social Sciences, with a preference for Computer Science (BCS).
- Two years proven experience in the field of data analyses and MEAL with INGOs/NGOs.
- Previous experience in programming areas of child poverty, anticipatory action, education, child protection, food security, and livelihoods.
- Maturity and confidence in dealing with the staff of government institutions and communities.
- Good communication (both oral and written) in English and local languages, people skill for conflict resolution and negotiation.
- Good at KOBO questionnaire development.
- Computer proficiency, especially in Power-BI, KOBO and STATA.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: The main areas of accountability and responsibility of this post is to implement Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning activities for the assigned project(s) in designated operational areas. Details are below.
Assist MEAL Coordinator in carrying out the baseline, endline and internal evaluation surveys, analysing the data and draft reports. Conduct monitoring field visits (Nangarhar projects) and in other service east areas if need) and ensure activities progress alignment with the initial plan. Support in implementation of the MEAL systems. Support in development of performance monitoring framework to measure progress, effectiveness, efficiency, and achievement of the expected results, specifying qualitative and quantitative indicators, data sources, and data collection methods. Work closely with ongoing projects’ staff to ensure accountability systems are in place that engage beneficiaries and stakeholders in evaluations, impact assessments and research. Assist the project team in day-to-day monitoring of the project in the overall implementation and management of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and information management for a high quality, innovative and effective learning programme. Support in development of outputs and outcomes indicator tracking sheet, indicator performance tracking tools IPTTs and output tracker and establish training targets which link to project activities. Supporting program staff with provision of data collection tools development, deployment, and supervision of use. Establish and support the implementation of a data management system to inform planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning. Undertake regular visits from the targeted areas to support monitoring, evaluation, impact assessment processes and accountability processes. Monitor and document the progress of ongoing NGR programme activities against agreed indicators Collect accurate and timely data of programme activities. Prepare reports as required on the programming activities for internal, donor and beneficiaries. Development of case studies to capture qualitative outputs of the project. Feed quality benchmark narration into MIS. Whenever required, give company to representatives of project stakeholders during joint-monitoring visits. Update project’s indicators status and achievement level into MIS.
