You have:
- High school diploma with five years of relevant professional experience; or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field from an accredited academic institution with three years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in logistics, procurement, or warehouse operations, including sourcing goods and services.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required (oral and written).
- Good knowledge of warehouse inventory management and stock control procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.
Contract
This is a G-4 contract. This kind of contract is known as General Service and related categories. It is normally only for nationals. It usually requires 4 years of experience, depending on education. More about G-4 contracts.

Organizational Context and Scope
Working under the overall supervision of the Procuement & Logistics Officer Yemen and the direct supervision of the Procuremnt and Losgistic Officer Marib, the incumbent will be responsible for supporting warehouse activities in accordance with warehouse regulations, rules and procedures for IOM Yemen.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
- High school diploma with five years of relevant professional experience; or,
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field field from an accredited academic institution with three years of relevant professional experience;

Experience
- Experience in logistics, procurement, or warehouse operations, including sourcing goods and services.
- Experience in the Humanitarian Field will be an advantage;.
Skills
- Good knowledge of warehouse inventory management and stock control procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.
Languages

Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of warehouse operations in compliancewith IOM Warehouse manual (2018-J-177) and relevant SOPs.
- Maintain updated stock records in the WAVE inventoty system and assist with monthly, half-yearly, and yearly stock counts and reports.
- Monitor loading and offloading activities at the warehouse in accordance with warehouse SPPs.
- Prepare and issue Receiving Report Forms for newly arrived items into the warehouse.
- Prepare and issue Stock Release Authorization Form when releasing items from the warehouse.
- Share updated warehouse inventory lists with programmes on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Verify receipt of original shipping documents newly arrived shipments, including packing lists, waybills, bills of lading and shipping invoices.
- Assist with the implementation of distribution plans and support warehouse operations, including dispatch and delivery tracking.
- Verify that proper authorization from the Logistics/Procurement Assistant or designated officer is obtained before releasing warehouse items to any individual and/or unit within the mission.
- Maintain the warehouse archiving system and stock cards.
- Maintain communication with programmes and PLU team regarding warehousing and pipeline WASH & NFI procurement orders and required warehouse spaces. Report any challenges or bottlenecks to the supervisor.
- Assist with communication with WASH cluster programmes regarding pipeline projects and distributions plans, as requested by supervisor.
- Assist with the organization of warehouse space and monitoring of stock items, including dead stocks.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
