UNDP and its partners believe that youth have the potential to be leaders, to create inclusive societies and the ability to reach the most vulnerable and marginalized. Youth can make a positive difference by taking on the challenges laid out in the 2030 Agenda through social innovation, mobilizing their peers and communities, and creating adaptive and innovative solutions.

To support UNDP's work on climate justice and youth, a comprehensive mapping of organizations, networks and alliances working on environmental and climate justice in the Asia-Pacific region is required. We are looking for an experienced online volunteer to research and map out the organizations working at the nexus of climate justice and youth, including indigenous organizations/alliances working on land and resource rights through desk research. The final output will be a list of organizations that are working on climate justice with a focus on youth as well as their regional and thematic scope.

Candidates are required to have : - previous experience in supporting programs that focus on human rights and knowledge of rights based approach - Familiarity with environmental and climate justice - Excellent desk research and mapping skills; - familiarity with excel or similar tools, - Excellent data consolidation and strong writing and editing skills.
