Conduct research to map actors related to base/frugal innovations in Latin America

You have:

Fluent command of Spanish and English is required.
Ability to synthesize large amounts of information into concrete and comprehensible results is necessary.
Experience or knowledge in social innovation, anthropology, sociology, and development is important but not exclusive for selection.

Esta tarea consiste en una investigación de escritorio para realizar un mapeo de actores relacionados a innovaciones de base/frugales en Latinoamérica. El mapeo debe considerar: 1. Contexto: actores a nivel regional y nacional de los países de la región, incluyendo redes/iniciativas formales e informales de organizaciones relacionadas a innovaciones de base/frugales. 2. Conexiones: explorar el rol de actores relacionados a innovaciones frugales (instituciones públicas, ONG, sector privado); así como su nivel de interacción e intercambio de información. 3. Patrones: identificar patrones en enfoques, métodos y prácticas relacionadas a innovaciones de base/frugales, incluyendo también cambios y limitaciones estructurales en la región. 4. Perspectivas: identificar oportunidades de construir relaciones y colaboraciones entre actores.

Los Laboratorios de Aceleración alrededor del mundo están apostando por innovaciones de base/frugales para identificar caminos alternativos para el desarrollo sostenible, y acelerar aprendizajes que sean adaptables a los retos dinámicos y complejos para el desarrollo en el siglo XXI.

Las personas candidatas deben poseer un dominio fluido del español e inglés. Se requiere la capacidad de sintetizar grandes cantidades de información en resultados concretos y comprensibles. La experiencia y conocimiento en el ámbito de innovación social, antropología, sociología y desarrollo son importantes, pero no excluyentes para la selección.
