Ensure safety and security management of all SCI staff and properties.

You have:

  • 7 years of working experience in safety and security in reputed large organization, including 3 years in management position.
  • Experience in working with law enforcement and security forces will be an advantage.
  • Retired armed forces officers (Captain/Major or equivalent) will be given preference.
  • Cross-functional working experience is highly desirable, especially related to areas like Crisis Management, Business Continuity and Organizational Resilience.
  • Excellent understanding on the safety and security current issues and measures including equipment.
  • Technical skills on experience in introducing S&S measures and precautions.
  • Master’s Degree, preferably in Social Science/Management/Business Studies or relevant discipline. Any specialization or certification of safety or security will be treated as added advantage.

The Opportunity Applying a Security Risk Management approach, this position will be responsible to ensure safety and security management of all SCI staff and properties (both leased and own) in compliance with SCI policies & standards in coordination with Deputy Country Director-Program Operations & Country Director. The position holder will also be responsible to maintain all safety and security equipment and closely coordinate with other functions like Operations, Risk Management, Human Resources and others. S/he will also be responsible for strengthening the overall safety and security management for BDCO, CXB Area office and all the field offices. S/he will actively promote SCI safety & security policy and standards through orientation programs in coordination with Human Resources.
