Key Responsibilities:

The purpose of this position is to provide leadership for the operations of Global Treasury’s Innovation, Leadership and Education program. . This includes leading the coordination of the design and execution of the annual roundtables, webinars and impromptu forums as well as managing information on the treasurers’ roundtable website and member’s chat.

The position will facilitate key treasury and insurance opportunities and related issues that World Vision and the NGO sector experience that may impact efficient operations. Solutions will then be crafted by leveraging Treasurers Roundtable members, bankers or brokers and innovative companies. It will coordinate with internal and external resources in creating a path toward long term sustainability of the Treasurers Roundtable TRT and other sector technical solutions.

This position will have the responsibility of digitizing and maintaining information of the membership and sponsoring organizations. This includes dialogue with treasury and insurance professionals in global NGOs, universities, foundations, multilateral and bi-lateral organizations, financial institutions, and insurance brokers.

The position will also lead the creation of educational materials for internal use within WV as well as the NGO sector at large to ensure people are competent in the fields of treasury or insurance.

The position requires an individual who is a highly motivated self-starter; has excellent networking skills; excels at developing and growing relationships; and has exceptional communication and written skills as well as organizational skills. The position will need the ability to sell a vision and competency for promoting the function both internally and externally.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide the operational leadership of the Treasurers Roundtable events:

  • This includes the activities associated with the annual conference; coordinating current, relevant topics, developing the programming, organizing speakers, moderators and panellists. It includes managing the administration and logistics of the function. It also requires writing regular communications and the promotional materials and event descriptions and speaker bios.
  • In addition, periodic and relevant webinars need to be coordinated and executed and require determination of subject matter and selection and acquisition of speakers.
  • This position is key in connecting members in discussion of problems and solutions.
  • It coordinates the financial sponsorship of the annual roundtable from brokers and bankers.
  • Assesses opportunities for expansion geographically into Europe and Africa as requested by members and sponsors. It will work with WV staff and external consultants to ensure long term sustainability.

Relationship Development:

  • This role must excel at developing relationships and making connections with in the roundtable membership, bankers and brokers, think tanks / research, new ventures incubators / accelerators, think tanks, advocacy organizations, bi / multilaterals, academia and social impact organizations.
  • Assess and execute CRM for managing member and sponsor data.

Technology:

  • This role will lead the production of post event videos of events for the purpose of sharing and posting on the TRT website.

Global Treasury:

  • Working on internal Global Treasury projects as appropriate. As a member of Global Treasury, this position will participate in strategic and operational functions. They may also coordinate internal WV projects in innovation and education.

Compensation:

For positions filled in the United States, the typical salary range for this role is $68,000.00 USD to $78,000.00 USD. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, job level, internal equity and budget. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience and geographic location.
