CIMMYT is seeking a proactive, innovative, and self-motivated professional for the position of Project Coordinator - Financial reporting in the CSP area of CIMMYT.

  • Verify Project Codes in ERP for accuracy, aligned with 1CG attributes.
  • Monitor Budget Upload in ERP according to donor agreements. Coordinate with Programs for timely data entry.
  • Review Financial Reports for compliance, deliver timely metrics to Programs and PMU, respond promptly to donor inquiries.
  • Prepare tutorials and trainings for Programs on funders' requirements. Update existing materials regularly.
  • Generate Monthly Project Reports and Dashboards in PwBI, reconcile with DFS DBs.
  • Conduct ongoing training for PFMU team and update unit processes.
  • Support donor audits, coordinate with Compliance Manager, update Audits DB and metrics.
  • Coordinate daily with Program Finance Managers and CSP Managers Units for W3/Bilateral projects budgeting and execution. Respond to donor queries and participate in calls.
  • Validate proposal budgets, assist Programs in cost recovery, and monitor financial gaps throughout project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • The selected candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in, administration or accounting.
  • The selected candidate must have at least 6 years of experience in a similar role.
  • The selected candidate must have advanced level of English language (English test will be administered; candidate must score a minimum of C1 as per CEFR).
  • The selected candidate must exhibit the following competencies: Critical thinking, Teamwork, Client Orientation, Problem Solving and decision making, Negotiation and Conflict resolution.
