Job Description

Job Overview: The M&E Quality Assurance Specialists will audit all intake and eligibility paperwork, financial requests, and disbursements for compliance and accuracy.

Major Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with M&E Quality Assurance Program Officer on developing and/or updating M&E tools needed for implementation

· Implementation of M&E activities

· Managing and analyzing program generated data

· Performing regular audits on eligibility paperwork, financial requests, and payments

· Writing up results and corrective actions, if necessary, of monitoring and evaluation activities

· Collaborate with ASIP project team on developing an M&E report to provide to donor

· Other related duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Education: Current graduate student or recent grad, preferably in International Affairs, Public Policy, or related field. Professional experience in lieu of education will be considered.

Work Experience: Experience and/or graduate level coursework in monitoring & evaluation research methods, and quantitative and qualitative analysis

Demonstrated Skills & Competencies:

· Demonstrated success working and communicating effectively in a multi-cultural environment.

· Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills combined with the proven ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and manage time effectively.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in work product.

· Fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in language(s) spoken by IRC’s clients is desired; including, Dari, and/or Pashto.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to use the internet and other digital tools for data entry, research and problem-solving purposes.

· Working knowledge of accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics a plus.

Working Environment:

· Partial remote, partial in-office work.

· May require occasional work out of partner agencies’ offices.

· May require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
