Overview

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business Administration or any relevant field

Qualifications

Generic professional competencies:

  • Basic experience from working as a function officer in a humanitarian/recovery context
  • Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
  • Good knowledge in English, both written and verbal

  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal
  • Good knowledge of asset management and fleet management needs in an INGO context
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration or any relevant field
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Valid driver’s license

Additional Information:

Contract duration: 6 months.

Working hours: 38 hours/week, Sun-Thu (5 days per week)

Salary/benefits: According to NRC’s salary scale and terms and conditions

Duty station: Gaza (open to Gaza strip residents only)

Responsibilities

Role and responsibilities

The purpose of a Logistic Technical assistant – fleet is to assist in the day-to-day implementation of the logistic function’s responsibility.

Generic responsibilities

  1. Adhere to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines, and donor requirements
  2. Assist with the implementation of the logistic function’s portfolio according to Plan of Action
  3. Provide logistic administration and basic support
  4. Prepare and develop status reports as required by management
  5. Ensure proper filing of all support documents
  6. Assist in the planning and delivery of logistic activity
  7. Maintain logistic records, suppliers and equipment
  8. Promote and share ideas for improvement of the logistic function
  9. Perform other duties, as assigned by Line Manager
  10. Contribute to implementation of Safe and Inclusive Programming Minimum Standards across your area of work.

Specific responsibilities

  1. Manage the fleet of NRC in the area office and staff/vehicles movement planning
  2. Focal point for movement requests by staff members both from AO
  3. Ensures car are always in roadworthy conditions and clean
  4. Focal point for maintaining the fleet in order and monitor the in-vehicle documentation
  5. Prepare and submit fleet, generator and fuel report
  6. Responsible for eFS movement planning for drivers
  7. Focal point with Fleet Service Providers and supports in management of vehicle rental contracts and payments
