Job Description

- Role and responsibilities
The purpose of the Coordinator position is day to day implementation of the Logistics and Procurement functions responsibilities as delegated by supervisor.
Generic responsibilities (max 10)
These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The responsibilities shall be short and essential. Details belong in the Work and Development plan.
- Implement NRC’s systems and procedures at area level
- Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines and donor requirements
- Prepare and submit reports and analysis
- Ensure proper filing of all support documents
- Support line managers in procedures and require support team trainings
- Management of support team
- Ensure high technical quality and transparent processes
- Assist the Country emergency Manager to develop, Manage and Monitor the Budgets according to financial handbook and donor requirement
- Implement delegated procurement support function portfolio according to plan action
- Conduct market price survey and produce price list for goods works and services
Specific responsibilities
These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus and type of programme intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly.
- Assist PMs to develop, coordinate and Manage RRT projects in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirement
- Assist the PMs to manage, train and develop the rapid response team RRT
- Transparent and cost efficient procurement of goods works and services
- Develop and prepare status reports as required by management
- Assist the CEM in project documentation and ensuring proper filing of documents
- Promote and shares ideas for improvement of support function
- Conduct market price survey and produce price list for goods works and services
- Provide support to PM, PC for RRT mission on mission activation.
- Manage RRT and ERRM warehouses and stock according to NRC Logistics handbook.
- Follow up on all procurement related to ERRM and RRT, ensure quality and timely delivery.
- Represent ERRM and RRT teams in Procurement related meetings.
- Prepare procurement plans and ensure that all PRs have been raised and delivered accordingly.
- Attend mission activation meetings to ensure the timely preparatory activities.
- Provide logistical support for the team going for mission.
- Provide help to procurement section for urgent procurement for RRT
- Plans and coordinate deliveries with relevant colleagues within logistics department
- Organizes for cargo transportation to the field offices
- Coordinates passengers’ movement plan and flight books
- Review budgets for timely spending with the support of the PMs and PCs
- Performs performance management for Logistics officers in his/her team
- Filing and archiving of Project reports and documents
- Performs any other responsibilities as assigned by the line manager
- Conduct market assessments, prepare market assessment reports and support Programme staff in the field.

- Logistics and Procurement degree (Bachelor degree)

- Fluent in English (Knowing other local languages is a plus)
