Logistics CoordinatorKerman Based

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating procurement and logistics operations at the area level to ensure efficient, compliant, and timely delivery of programme support. The role manages key logistics functions including procurement planning, fleet, warehouse, asset management, and market analysis in line with organisational policies and donor requirements. The Logistics Coordinator supervises logistics staff, ensures accurate documentation and reporting for audit purposes, supports operational planning, and promotes transparency, cost-efficiency, and accountability across all logistics processes while facilitating effective coordination with programme teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  1. Role and responsibilities

The purpose of a Logistic Coordinator is to implement delegated area of logistic responsibility and deliver a variety of procurement and other logistics related activities, including management of warehouse, fleet, distribution and asset and Marker analysis.

Generic responsibilities (max 10)

These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. Details belong in the Work and Development plan.

  1. Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines, SOP’s and donor requirements
  2. Implement NRC’s logistic systems and procedures at area level
  3. Coordinate timely operational planning and management of logistics activities
  4. Ensure that local SOP’s regulate procedures at field office level, and perform periodic checks
  5. Coordinate market analysis/assessment within the scope and request of programme/project developers
  6. Prepare and submit reports and analysis
  7. Ensure proper filing of all support documents
  8. Support line managers in procedures and require support team trainings related to logistics and non-Logistics (internal, external)
  9. Line management of the logistic team including recruitment and performance management
  10. Provide anti-corruption, transparency and cost efficiency focus in all processes (e.g. in procurement, vehicle management, asset management, Market Analysis)
  11. Ensure safe and efficient transport of staff and materials/goods
  12. Promote the rights of refugees and displaced in line with the advocacy strategy
  13. Ensure that key learnings are extracted from operations regarding protection and incorporate them into program strategy and staff development processes.

Specific responsibilities

These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus and type of intervention.   1. Lead and monitor ongoing and foreseen procurement to be in line with NRC’s SOP and Logistics Handbook.
  2. Review Contract, Purchase Order, Payments and relevant verification to ensure it is compliant in terms of supporting documents.
  3. Monitor NRC’s procurement archive to ensure all required supporting documents are properly recorded for audit purposes.
  4. Development of Projects Procurement Plans and ensure PPPs are implemented efficiently.
  5. Submission of monthly Logistics KPIs report based on latest update of Procurement, Fleet, Warehouse and Assets.
  6. Coordinate with other divisions, e.g. Programme, to ensure required procurement are smoothly proceeded according to the project deadline while NRC’s logistics and financial rules and procedures and standards are followed and applied.
