Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough verification of contractor’s invoices

• Ensure submitted invoices have booked commitment details in WFP’s Information Network and Global System (WINGS).

• Ensure weekly invoice status report is prepared and submitted on time.

• Prepare the Consolidated Delivery Report (CDR) generated from the corporate commodity tracking system (LESS)

• Reconcile and monitor entries posted in the corporate Invoice Tracking System (ITS)

• Follow up on invoices with queries

• Prepare material and conduct periodic training of service providers and WFP staff on Invoicing Procedures.

• Update all the invoice ledgers and maintain a reliable filing system

• Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure no discrepancies exist between the LESS and Invoices.

• Ensure timely forwarding of invoices from field office to the Country Office.

• Provide support to logistics operations and activities

• Assist in the capturing of receipt commodities in the system when required.

• Perform any other related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Completion of secondary school education.

Experience:

2 years or more relevant experience in administrative work.

Language: Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Somali is a requirement.

Knowledge & Skills: Hands-on logistics and finance experience in the UN or INGOs is desirable.

Hands on experience in monitoring various aspects of Logistics Operations
