Generic responsibilities (max 10)

These responsibilities shall be the same for all positions with the same title. The responsibilities shall be short and essential. Details belong in the Work and Professional Development Plan.

  1. Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines, SOPs and donor requirements.
  2. Conduct and follow up daily operational logistic activities.
  3. Support the administration of resources so that deliverables are achieved within set budgets, timelines, and standards.
  4. To be responsible for the assets in stock.
  5. Receive supplies and ensure that they are in good condition and accompanied with correct documents.
  6. To supply the AO West personnel according to NRC norms and regulations.
  7. Support in development of SOPs as requested.
  8. Ensure proper filing of all support documents.
  9. Promote and share ideas for improvement of the logistic function.
  10. Perform other duties, as assigned by Line Manager.

Specific responsibilities

  • Be responsible for assets and inventory obtaining, registering, handing over/ transferring, monitoring its functional condition.
  • Support Logistics Coordinator and/or Logistic Team Leader in managing, evaluating and reporting of fleet management activities/performance.
  • To provide support in proper utilization of the NRC fleet.
  • Ensure that the necessary information related to assets and inventory movement/transport/fleet management is effectively shared and communicated to the Logistics Coordinator and/or Logistics Team Leader.
  • To develop Weekly/Daily vehicle movement plan and conduct necessary arrangements as assigned by Line Manager.
  • To conduct (assist) stock/assets replenishment needs analysis, initiate the procurement of required materials, raise purchase requests, if assigned by Line Manager.
  • To check/verify received assets/inventories if they correspond to GRN (General Receipt Notes), the quality and functional condition.
  • Physical count and check all assets and inventory, and report all broken and/or nonfunctional assets to supervisor.
  • Tag, record all assets and inventory, record and register equipment issued to Staff.
  • Developing and keeping updated file records as required by NRC Logistics manual in both hard and soft versions.
  • Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.
  • Control compliance with safety regulations.
  • To conduct constant monitoring of the assets serviceable condition. In cooperation with ICT officer plan and organize the service/maintenance if needed. For the assets are not serviceable, based on logistic handbook, to initiate write off procedures.
  • Perform other general LOGs tasks required by Line Manager
  • Report all potential fraud cases to the Line Manager.
