You have:
- Bachelor’s degree or learning programme certification in Visual Communication, Multimedia arts, Design, Communication, or Marketing.
- 3-5 years of work experience in digital marketing with a focus on campaign strategy, content planning, creatives production, and social media management.
- Technical expertise in graphic design, video editing and other creative production using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication.
- Technical knowledge in social media management, paid media and analytics using third-party channel management and analytics tools.

Purpose of the Consultancy:
This will enable the section to effectively and efficiently meet social media and website KPIs, as well as milestones for advocacy, emergencies and other key communication moments for 2022-2023. The public-facing channels include the country office’s website, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Tik-Tok, and other new channels that may be created to support the overall communication and advocacy strategy.
The Social Media Assistant reports to the Digital Communication Officer, working under the guidance of the Digital Communication Associate for day-to-day tasks in content production, paid media management, and digital channels management.

Coordination.
Deliverables:
• Using the Communication Section’s tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva and other content creation software, conceptualize and produce graphics, videos, articles and interactive pieces of content for UNICEF Philippines public-facing digital channels. This includes adapting and repackaging existing materials and assets.
• Copywriting for post captions, content copy ads, photo captions and alt text, and community management FAQs.
• Support the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of campaigns using Meta ad credits, ensuring effective spending to achieve campaign objectives while complying with ad credits guidelines.
• Provide technical support to major campaigns to be handled by digital agencies, including SEM campaigns.
• Support content planning and conceptualization during content planning meetings.
• Handle daily updating and maintenance of the Communication Section’s content production trackers.
• Produce social media packs for campaigns and other key moments.
• Publish and schedule approved content on time using content management tools such as Hootsuite and publish natively on social media channels, and adjust posting schedules as needed.
• Create and maintain an internal archive of all released photos, videos and other social media assets, with complete working files and related documents such as social media packs.
• Attend regularly scheduled meetings with the digital communication team, communication and fundraising digital group, joint partnerships group, and the Communication Section and provide relevant updates and inputs as needed.
• Attend ad-hoc meetings for emergencies and other priorities Ensure that all creative assets, including copy and post captions undergo proper review and sign-off prior to release.

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree or learning programme certification in Visual Communication, Multimedia arts, Design, Communication, or Marketing.
Work Experience:
• 3-5 years of work experience in digital marketing in an agency or in-house for a brand, with a focus on campaign strategy, content planning, creatives production, and social media management.
• Past work experience in the development sector, or experience in handling advocacy and non-profit campaigns and activations, an advantage.
Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:
• Technical expertise in graphic design, video editing and other creatives production primarily using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, and native channel content production and editing tools.
• Technical knowledge in social media management, paid media and analytics using native and third-party channel management, analytics and content management tools such as Hootsuite, Google Analytics, YouTube Studio, Facebook Business Manager and others.
• Adobe, Meta and Google certifications are an advantage.
• Ability to implement insights, data and advocacy briefs into creative ideas that will drive audience engagement.
• Excellent copywriting skills in English and Filipino.
• Ability to condense and transform complex technical text and ideas into effective materials and copy suited for identified audiences and channels.
• Strong strategic thinking on digital communication.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Language:
• Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication, and knowledge of the relevant local language is an asset.

The selected candidate is solely responsible to ensure that the visa (applicable) and health insurance required to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire period of the contract.
