You have:
- Minimum two years of experience working in Monitoring and Evaluation, or equivalent.
- Education in Social Science, statistics, economics, or any other related field.
- Knowledge in KOBO, ODK or other similar mobile data collection tools.
- Experience in cleaning and analyzing data using Microsoft Excel or Power BI.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience in delivering training delivery to projects’ participants.
- Proven skills and experience in monitoring and documenting humanitarian projects.
- Experience in organizing and managing activities at distribution sites and community mobilization.
- Experience in conducting needs/vulnerability assessments and beneficiary selection processes.
- Experience in field level coordination with community stakeholders, local and international NGOs, local government officials.
- High level of computer skills, especially in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

The LFS Information Management Officer is responsible for the daily management and coordination of the information management system for the LFS Program in White Nile State, with a particular focus on Kosti and Rabak localities, where displaced populations and host communities are situated. The role will require occasional travel to provide support during assessments, program start-ups, or related activities.

Generic professional competencies:
- Minimum Two years of experience working in Monitoring and Evaluation, or equivalent.
- Education in Social Science, statistics, economics, or any other related field.
- Knowledge in KOBO, ODK or other similar mobile data collection tools.
- Experience in cleaning and analyzing data using Microsoft Excel or Power BI.
- Presentation and communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience:
- A university degree essential, related to information technology is preferred
- Two years’ experience in implementation of emergency and early recovery projects.
- Experience in delivering training delivery to projects’ participants.
- Proven skills and experience in monitoring and documenting humanitarian projects
- Experience in organizing and managing activities at distribution sites and community mobilization.
- Experience in conducting needs/vulnerability assessments and beneficiary selection processes.
- Experience in field level coordination with community stakeholders, local and international NGOs, local government officials, including working with Technical Ministries.

Projects Implementation
- Support the development of LFS Department’s data management system, through design, documentation, implementation, and harmonization of LFS activities.
- Support LFS monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning processes, including the spot checks and any other control measures.
- Support the development of data collection, data entry and reporting methodology and tools.
- Support the data collection and management, and development of clear information flow between program and NRC Monitoring and Evaluation staff.
- Prepare progress reports, including project reports, log frames, ITT and GORS.
- Carry out capacity building and training of programme staff on LFS database and NRC Monitoring and Evaluation technical and conceptual areas.
- Contribute updated beneficiary figures and achievements to the donor, project/program reports, assessments, monitoring, and strategy documents as required.
- Providing specific technical support and capacity building towards project staff in implementing and maintaining LFS database
- Adherence to NRC policies, guidelines, and standards
