The Opportunity

As part of our outreach programme in Ireland we work with parishes across the Island of Ireland to raise awareness about

global justice issues. The Laudato Si’ Officer works to deliver the Laudato Sí Project, managed by Trócaire in

collaboration with the Laudato Sí’ Movement. The Officer will be part of the Trócaire Ireland Division Outreach Team focusing on public engagement with a Church audience across Ireland on Laudato Sí’ and climate justice. The role will involve close collaboration within Trócaire and externally with key Church stakeholders

Requirements

You will report to the Church Manager.The job opportunity will be offered on a specified purpose contract (Expected duration 12 months) and is based in Maynooth with hybrid working options.

The Laudato Si’ Officer works to deliver the Laudato Sí Project, managed by Trócaire in collaboration with the Laudato Sí’ Movement. The officer will primarily aim to foster climate justice initiatives and care for the environment with key stakeholders across the church in Ireland.
