The Tech Volunteers for Resilience (Tech4R) programme mobilizes skilled digital volunteers to co-create open-source solutions for disaster preparedness and response. This role will support the first cohort of Tech4R volunteers by strengthening resilience efforts in Armenia to develop a data collection tool for the first responders and municipalities that support communities during and after disasters. The volunteers will be working with the team to build kobo toolbox forms, record user guides for the end users and support the power BI team in connecting the two components

The Volunteer Kobo Toolbox Forms Creation Volunteer will: Create kobo toolbox forms and run tests, document user guides, use excels and transfer them to kobo toolbox Conduct pilot data collection exercises using Kobo Toolbox or similar platforms. Conduct data quality checks, troubleshooting, and basic digital literacy.

• Educational Background: Studies or practical experience in disaster management, social sciences, data collection, or related fields. • Technical Skills: Familiarity with mobile data collection tools (e.g., Kobo Toolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO). • Communication: Ability to work in diverse teams, independently. • Teamwork: Collaborative approach with openness to feedback and iterative improvements.
