You have:
- Degree in Social Sciences, Development or related areas required.
- Professional qualifications in Data Analysis, Social Research, Monitoring and Evaluation preferred.
- Experience of working with youth development, training and participation programmes at a responsible supervisory level preferred.
- Experience in fieldwork and producing position papers preferred.
- Experience in NGOs is an added advantage.
- Strong communication skills suitable for the public required.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills required.
- Research report writing skills required.

The opportunity
- Support the Senior Researcher in defining the research methodology and tools;
- Conduct data collection under the guidance of the Senior Researcher;
- Support the Senior Researcher in training the young people to carry out the research and provide on-site guidance to the two young researchers;
- Receive training in research methodologies, data collection and data interpretation for defence;
- Collaborate with the Senior Researcher in writing the reports and providing guidance on defence documents such as policy briefs and findings of fact;
- Collaborate actively in the production of position papers for Advocacy;
- Comply with all Plan's internal policies, especially the Safeguarding and Compliance policies;
- Support the Senior Researcher in any other task necessary for the success of the activity.
About You
- Degree in Social Sciences, Development or related areas;
- Professional qualifications in Data Analysis, Social Research, Monitoring and Evaluation;
- Experience of working with youth development, training and participation programmes and at a responsible supervisory level;
- Experience in fieldwork and producing position papers;
- Experience in NGOs is an added advantage;
