Overview

Assist in research and communications related to Electric Vehicles.

You have:

  • Master’s degree in relevant engineering disciplines (or a business administration master’s with relevant undergraduate engineering degree), with excellent academic track record
  • 4-7 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in the battery sector in India
  • Impeccable writing and verbal skills in English to coherently convey complex information to a technical and policy audience
  • Strong people management skills and ability to network
  • Experience in writing reports, briefs and academic papers is a must
  • Deep knowledge of electric mobility and renewable energy is necessary, and familiarity with public policy is desirable
  • Ability to receive and incorporate constructive feedback effectively
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial attitude to handle challenging tasks and ability to take accountability
  • Should be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, and be able to lead and undertake initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work well in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams

Job Highlight:

WRI India is looking for an intern to work with WRI India`s Electric Vehicle (EV) team in Delhi. This individual will primarily perform research activities on EV projects. The successful candidate will work closely with his/her supervisor.

What you will do:

• Assist and / or carry out research in identified area of work including development of publication plan, research report, technical papers etc • Coordinate / follow-up with internal and external reviewers for developing knowledge products • Support efforts to communicate about the EV work at WRI India including analytical content to non-technical audiences, media, and other stakeholders • Support in organizing events, workshop, webinars etc • Identify research gaps, cultivate ideas and author or co-author knowledge products (e.g., reports, briefs, data-products) • Provide research related support to other team members in EV team. • Collaborate and work with to advance publications.

Potential Salary and Benefits: 7,50,000 to 9,50,000 INR CTC Per Annum

Salary shall be commensurate with experience and skills. WRI offers a generous and comprehensive benefits package.

Duration: 1 years as term hire (extendable based on performance and project requirements)

Location: New Delhi/ Bangalore/ Mumbai, India

Start date: As soon as possible
