Long-lasting recovery of acute malnutrition cases depends on the ability to mitigate the immediate and intermediate determinants of acute malnutrition at the household level. 3. Capacitate implementing actors of the nutrition and FSC clusters through the use of the abovementioned guidelines and tools.
  4. Lead the setup and implementation of cash or voucher assistance for nutrition outcomes and support the monitoring and learning of such programmes to inform the country and global efforts of WFP and the Global Nutrition Cluster.
  5. Contribute to prevent and treat acute malnutrition by establishing a referral and counter-referral system for households with acute malnutrition cases to social safety nets programs implemented as part of the Northern crisis response.
