Overview

  • First level university degree, Bachelor in IT, Digital government innovation, or related fields, is required.
  • At least 7 years experience of work in fields related to data/information management is required.
  • Work experience with no-code platforms and implementation of the UNCTAD eRegistrations system is desirable.
  • Fluency written and spoken in English is required.

Duties and Responsibilities

In the context of the implementation of the Business Facilitation Program, under the supervision of the project coordinator and in close collaboration with other international experts, the consultant will support the implementation of the eRegistrations system and participate in the design, development and testing of digital government services. In particular, s/he will be entrusted with the following tasks: • Conduct research on the rules and regulations for obtaining an ePhytosanitary (ePhyto) license and participate in the analysis of the procedure. • Design the database structure for the ePhyto service using the Generic Database Builder (GDB). • Present the database structure to the project coordinator and to the local counterparts, collect feedback and include them in the DB structure. • Conduct presentations on the eRegistrations system’s service design methodology and functionalities. • Conduct online and in-person service design training sessions to civil servants in Bhutan and/or other user countries upon request.

Qualifications/special skills

Academic qualifications: First level university degree, Bachelor in IT, Digital government innovation, or related fields, is required. Experience: At least 7 years experience of work in fields related to data/information management is required. Work experience with no-code platforms and implementation of the UNCTAD eRegistrations system is desirable.

Languages
