Organizational Setting

The Shared Services Centre (SSC) recommends and administers process management and procedures that need to be executed effectively; ensures the management of quality assurance activities associated with the transactional processes and implementation of service delivery; continuously improves the satisfaction of its customers, internal or external, while pursuing a continuous improvement agenda that will drive up service excellence while driving down the costs of service delivery through process standardization, process automation and self-service capabilities.

Reporting Lines

The IT Specialist will directly report to the IT Associate.

Technical Focus

The Information Technology Assistant ensures quality, transparency and consistency of data and processes within his/her area of responsibility and contributes to the smooth functioning of the work of the unit. The supervision received is focused on the quality of work outputs and meeting deadlines.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Provide first-level and second-level user support for ICT-related services including, but not limited to: the Local Area Network, Wide-area Network, Wi-Fi, Video conferencing, hardware and software, Multifunction printers/photocopiers and Teams telephony. • Coordinate delivery and installation/configuration of standard laptops for SSC personnel as per established policies and procedures and liaising with the users. • Ensure IT inventory tracked, IT assets are tagged and maintain IT supplies. • Ensure all user requests are logged in the Service Management tool and coordinate with the IT Division for any 3rd level escalations. • Monitor ticket resolution within SLAs and produce reports on request. • Assist in identifying hardware and software needs of the SSC and draft procurement requests for hardware and software according to corporate guidelines and procedures. • Perform other duties as required.

CANDIDATES WILL BE ASSESSED AGAINST THE FOLLOWING

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma, university degree/technical diploma is considered an asset • 1-3 years of relevant work experience • Working knowledge (level C) of English • Working knowledge of the official language of the country • National of Hungary or resident of the country with valid work permit.

Strong knowledge of Excel. • Good knowledge of corporate ERP systems • Good communication skills • Enthusiastic to work in an administrative support environment.
