Description of Position: The IT Program Manager will support IT compliance and standardization and surveillance of IT programs, services and projects related to BHA. This position is responsible for overall project and task management and oversight for IT services and solutions that support BHA. The responsibilities include: ● Oversees the management of IT projects with high complexity or risk, such as agency-wide system integrations that include large-scale enterprise resource planning. ● Evaluates client information systems needs to ensure the project scope, requirements, and deliverables are addressed by the contract project manager. ● Ensures cost-benefit studies are designed to implement projects with the most efficient use of human capital and material resources at the lowest cost. ● Reviews vendor work products to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the deliverables. ● In concert with contractor project managers, plans and develops long-range objectives and milestones for IT projects. ● Develops long-range objectives and milestones for IT projects that involve substantive, mission-oriented programs, such as projects implementing enterprise-level application and/or changes to IT infrastructure to meet an agency’s modified business processes.
