MAJOR RESPONCIBILITIES

Technical support:

  • First point of contact for IT technical support. Diagnoses problems by evaluating multiple options. Escalates problems when necessary. Documents problem status and resolution.

Technology planning and deployment:

  • Evaluates and proposes technologies and solutions. Coordinates the deployment of systems, equipment and infrastructure. Prepares technical specifications to Procurement for equipment and services acquisitions. Performs technical evaluation of quotes.

Information security, data management and data protection:

  • Ensures that IT security technical measures are in place and tested regularly. Defines relevant policies and procedures and ensures awareness across project teams and office users. Works closely with project team members and data protection team on technical and organisation measures to safeguard personal data of beneficiaries and other data subjects.

Inventory and asset management:

  • Maintains inventory of hardware and software assets in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Training:

  • Provides training as it relates to technologies, systems and equipment in use.

Documenting and reporting:

  • Creates, modifies and reviews policies, procedures, technical and process documentation. Documents solutions to common problems and responses to frequently asked questions. Provides reporting on the usage of systems, data; supports teams in creating reports.

KNOWLEDGE\QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in providing IT services to different profile of customers in business environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of hardware and software products and problem solving / diagnostic skills.
  • Proven technical computer skills in Windows OS 10/11, Microsoft Office Software, basic network/LAN management skills,
  • information/data management, IT security, Android, Apple iOS.
  • Ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks as well as well – developed ability in problem solving. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to perform well individually and as team member.
