OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

Les unites d'appui administratif des bureaux de pays (CSU) ont ete mises en place dans l'organigramme pour un certain nombre de raisons, notamment:fournir un appui aux responsables et aux membres du personnel afin de leur permettre d'exercer pleinement leurs responsabilites dans l'environnement du GSM; garantir la conformite aux politiques, procedures, regles et reglements de l'OMS dans toutes les transactions ou pour toutes les questions administratives,financieres et technologique, dans le contexte d'un systeme de planification des ressources institutionnelles (ERP)

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Le titulaire assumera les responsabilites suivantes :Gere et maintient un environnement TIC fiable et a jour (LAN / WAN / GPN), y compris les installations et configurations de cablage, de commutation et de routage dansle paysDeploie et entretient une infrastructure de reseau sans fil efficace et fiable pour le bureau pays etaide / prend en charge les sites distants du BP dans des installations similaires ;Assure une accessibilite et une connectivite reseau appropriees et efficaces pour les appareils des utilisateurs finaux du bureau pays (ordinateurs de bureau, ordinateurs portables, imprimantes, telephones, appareils mobiles, etc.) ;Planifie et met en œuvre les mises a niveau / ameliorations necessaires sur l'infrastructure LAN (installation de nouveaux points de reseau, definition de VLAN, attribution de points de reseau, etc.), a la fois dans le bureau de pays et sur tous les autres sites de l'OMS dans le pays ;S'assure que les normes et politiques TIC sont suivies et maintenues dans le pays,Conseille, assiste et fournit un support technique au bureau pays et aux sites distants du BP en termes d'infrastructure LAN / WAN / GPN et de services et operations TIC ;Definit les activites,planifie et coordonne le travail d'equipe dans les bureaux du pays ;S'assure que les bases de donnees et les applications des programmes techniques sont developpees et maintenues selon les besoins exprimes dans le pays ;S'assure que les plans et procedures d'urgence sont disponibles dans tous les sites a travers le pays et maintenus en relation avec IST / CA et ITM / AFRO ;Planifie et coordonne les formations liees aux TIC dans le bureau pays et les autres sites correspondants;Elabore et distribue aussi souvent que possible des statistiques relatives a la fourniture de services TICdans le pays ;S'assure que toutes les demandes liees a l'informatique sont enregistrees dans le systeme concerne etque des statistiques sont regulierement produites et publiees (KPI) ;Effectue d'autres taches au besoin et qui lui seront confies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Essential: Maitrise/Bachelor (BAC 4) en informatique, Reseaux et Telecommunications, Programmation et Infrastructures ou dans un domaine connexe. Desirable: Les certifications ITIL, COBIT, Microsoft, CISCO seront un atout.

Experience

Essential: Au moins 5 ans d'experience pertinente dans la gestion du materiel informatique, des logiciels, des reseaux et des technologies de communication ; Connaissance des bases de donnees relationnelles et de l'architecture client / serveur. Desirable: Experience en gestion de projet ainsi qu'une solide connaissance des tendances technologiques pour un soutien efficace des utilisateurs et des infrastructures TIC.

REMUNERATION

WHO salaries for staff in the Professional category are calculated in US dollars. The remuneration for the above position comprises an annual base salary starting at USD 64,121 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable), a variable post adjustment, which reflects the cost of living in a particular duty station, and currently amounts to USD 3019 per month for the duty station indicated above. Other benefits include 30 days of annual leave, allowances for dependent family members, home leave, and an education grant for dependent children.
