Do you want to work with IT in one of the world's leading humanitarian organizations? We are digitizing and modernizing our IT portfolio and are seeking an IT colleague who understands new technologies and wants to create and maintain the foundation for further development of IT systems and also support our colleagues.

Who are we?

The IT Service & Operation team in DRC’s HQ consists of 12 employees, 4 based in Copenhagen, 3 in other parts of Denmark and 5 based in Warsaw. We work in an international environment and cooperate with colleagues from the +40 countries where we operate. We are committed to driving and providing support to the ambitious digital changes that our organization is undergoing. Our environment is based primarily on Microsoft cloud products such as Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Azure.

We have started the transformation to Cloud and are almost finish in Denmark. We are planning to take the journey globally as we also aim to align systems and solutions across the whole organization.

About the job

As an employee in IT Service & Operations you are working with supporting our colleagues within different projects and continuously focusing on Operations and security for our existing infrastructure. The job is a mix of technical support and developing/implementing new tools in the organization. Knowledge and interest in automation, Power platform, cloud transformation is very valued.

As IT administrator your primary tasks will be:

  • Installing and configuring software and networks
  • Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
  • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models
  • Operation and maintanence of systems and applications
  • Implementing new technology
  • Create internal documentation and guides

About you

You have a great interest in IT and a desire to work in an international and dynamic environment where you will take on varying tasks with a significant degree of responsibility.

We expect you to:

  • Have knowledge of Microsoft products such as Windows, Microsoft 365 and Azure
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator with extensive knowledge about AD, AAD and IAM
  • Experience with networks (LAN, WAN) and Firewall
  • Knowledge of system security and endpoint protection
  • Training and certifications within the Microsoft platforn (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English (Scandinavian languages are a plus)
  • Structured and organized

The office is located at Borgergade, a 2-minute walk from the Kongens Nytorv metro station.

  • Working time: 37 hours a week
  • Start date: August / September
  • Salary & Terms of Employment: Terms are in accordance with the current agreement between the Danish Refugee Council and Prosa. This is a national position for which local terms and conditions apply
  • The position is permanent
