Overview

Support mapping of trade facilitation and customs methodologies at the regional level.

You have:

  • A first university degree, Bachelor, in project management, technical science, information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics or related area is required.
  • At least 7 years of experience of work in ICT project management including experience of design, development, testing and piloting complex ICT applications, dealing with customs automation and Single Window systems methodology and documentation is required.
  • Fluency written and spoken in Russian is required.
  • Knowledge of English is desirable.
  • Working for an international organization is desirable.
  • Working in the transition economies region is desirable.

The consultant will help in mapping the trade facilitation and customs methodologies at the regional level through systematisation of ASYCUDA documentation for transition economies region

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of UNCTAD ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe and Central Asia the incumbent will undertake following duties: - Preparation of updated versions of documentation of ASYCUDA for economies in transition - Adaptation of documentation on new ASYCUDA modules to the national requirements of ASYCUDA-user countries - Adaptation of documentation on ASYPM to regional specifics - Preparation of updated training documentation - Preparing updated inventories of ASYCUDA regional version documentation - Providing methodological advise to ASYCUDA developers on data exchange between ASYCUDA users in Central Asia

Qualifications/special skills

A first university degree, Bachelor, in project management, technical science, information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics or related area is required. At least 7 years of experience of work in ICT project management including experience of design, development, testing and piloting complex ICT applications, dealing with customs automation and Single Window systems methodology and documentation is required Working for an international organization is desirable. Languages
