Overview

Contribute to the migration UNCTAD ASYCUDA system functionalities to the new digital platform.

You have:

  • A First university degree, Bachelor, in information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics or related area, is required.
  • At least 7 years of progressively responsible work experience in ICT sector project management, is required.
  • Work experience of design, development, testing and piloting complex ICT applications is required.
  • Fluency written and oral in English is required.
  • Work experience in providing IT services to government organizations related to import-export operations or working in public sector is desirable.
  • Work experience of dealing with international ICT projects is desirable.

The consultant will contribute to the migration UNCTAD ASYCUDA system functionalities to the new digital platform, adapted for the transition economies regional specifics.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of UNCTAD ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for CEE and Central Asia the incumbent will undertake the following duties: - System stabilization and functional refinement; - Final user acceptance testing (UAT), preparation and execution tasks; - Coordination of Go-Live technical activities at the local team level; - Ensuring all technical problems are logged, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner; - Post-Go-Live optimization of the system; - Technical documentation finalization and knowledge transfer tasks; - System handover and final reporting tasks.
