IT Consultant (dashboard developer)

Result of Service The consultant will support the enhancement of utilization of the ASYCUDA inter-agency and single window solutions in Central Asian countries

Duties and Responsibilities In the context of the ASYCUDA and Single Window implementation and maintenance projects in Central Asia under the general supervision of UNCTAD ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe and Central Asia. the consultant will undertake the following duties. - development of the Single Window dashboard components to allow importers and exporters to electronically submit all regulatory documents in one portal, saving them time and reducing the costs of transactions - Adjustment and testing of ASYCUDA Exemptions Module - development and testing of the first version of the interactive map with the location of customs points - adjustment of the TM Single Window portal to the mobile version - development of the first version of the non-tariff measures compartment of the integrated tariff section 1 - development of the first version of the non-tariff measures compartment of the integrated tariff section 2 in accordance with international standards - finalizing the development and integration of the Legislation and regulations section into the TM Single Window portal - development and testing of content dissemination of the electronic licenses and regulations compartment - testing and improving the performance of the web portal to be put into operation

Qualifications/special skills Academic Qualifications: A first university degree, Bachelor, in information technology, computer science, engineering, mathematics or related area. Experience: At least 5 years of experience of work in ICT sector as front-end and back-end developer, design, development, testing and piloting complex ICT applications, Experience of development ICT solutions for customs automation or single window is an advantage. Java and Angular programming language is required. Experience of working for international organization is an advantage. Experience in the transition economies region would be an advantage. Language: Fluency written and oral in English is required. Knowledge of Russian is desirable
