Overview

Ensure technical conformity with international standards of ASYCUDA and Single Window systems and modules.

You have:

  • First university degree, Bachelor, in computing science, engineering, mathematics or related area is required.
  • At least 7 years of work experience in ICT sector, including as front-end and back-end developer, are required.
  • Work experience of design, development, testing and piloting complex ICT software applications with big number of users is required.
  • Work experience in Angular programming language is required.
  • Familiarity with customs automation, single window or similar systems is desirable.
  • Work experience of working in international ICT projects is an advantage with experience of working in the transition economies region is desirable.
  • Fluency oral and written in English is required.
  • Knowledge of Russian is desirable.

Duties and Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of UNCTAD ASYCUDA Regional Coordinator for Eastern Europe and Central Asia the incumbent will undertake following duties: - Analyze business processes to identify software automation needs in Europe and CIS operational environment, customization of new ASYCUDA modules - Continue developing customized solutions for Declaration Processing and payment systems and initiate the design of interfaces for multilingual support in English and local languages - Finalize the customization of core national prototype components of ASYCUDA user countries and prepare the live operation - Incorporate stakeholders inputs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for each software component and their functionalities - Assist in development and refining other ASYCUDA software components to align with the specified requirements, ensuring that they meet stakeholder expectations - Participation in testing of each software component and preparation of detailed reports demonstrating that individual functionalities meet specified requirements - Assist ASYCUDA core team in outlining strategies and methodologies to identify and resolve compatibility issues and resolutions, ensuring seamless functionality across all integrated components

Qualifications/special skills
