This is the context in which you deploy your IT skills. You identify gaps, engage with stakeholders, map process, design solution, implement and transition them. Your change management toolbox is full – and you approach changes and transformation with professionalism whether it be strengthening IT security and GDPR posture, deploying Power Platform solutions, or delivering digital capabilities to our global operations in the field.

Who are we?

The Danish Refugee Council is working in hotspots in 40 countries. Over the past years we have had a tremendous growth internationally. Successful ideation, development and benefit realisation from new and existing solutions are key objectives in DRC to ensure we continue to provide efficient security and protection to the people we serve. We balance this with our delivery of seamless collaboration platforms for our colleagues in need of flexibility to perform their tasks and collaborate globally and a robust and expanding ERP platform in Microsoft Dynamics.

About the job

You are a key liaison to the organisation. You tie business objectives and technology deployment together. Quickly establish trust and confidence with development and implementation approaches, ensure excellent fit between solutions and business needs, and engages across the entire implementation cycle from ideation though development, implementation, anchoring, and transition.

  • Become central roll-out capacity in our IT Security and GDPR programme.
  • Design transformation approach, design roll-out methodology, adherence tracking, business engagement model and project reporting.
  • Follow up on operational metrics and KPI reporting.
  • Engage in internationalisation of the IT organisation engaging with and utilising the network of IT capabilities available in the global organisation.

About you

To be successful in this role we expect you to bring strong drive, a desire to create global impact, and the knowledge to positively influence outcome of our effort. You are likely early in your career and eager to test approaches and build knowledge about how to create impact in a global organisation – or you wish to see your already established toolbox successfully deployed to serve the mission of DRC.

You know that change and transformation rarely come by itself. You act independently, timely, and with a good eye for balancing efficiency and quality of your approach within what is feasible in a resource constrained environment. You deploy digital tools and collaboration forums with ease and thereby increase digital literacy and utilisation for all parts of DRC.

Moreover, we also expect the following:

Required

  • Hold an academic master’s degree
  • Have strong skills in organisational change management, process mapping, solution selection and implementation.
  • Drive focus on goals and outcomes
  • Be persistent, resilient, and structured
  • Show strong and inclusive interpersonal skills
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English

Desirable

  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework and experience from ITIL implementation projects
  • Knowledge of Agile project/organisational structures and SAFe
  • NGO-experience
  • Knowledge of French and Danish is desirable

Contract length: Permanent

Work place: Borgergade 10, Copenhagen, Denmark

Start date: When the right candidate is identified

Salary and conditions will be in accordance with agreement between the Danish Confederation of Professional Associates (AC-organisationerne) and the Danish Refugee Council. The position is at “fuldmægtig”/generalist level. This is contractually a national position for which local Danish terms and conditions apply.
