UNICEF GSSC is seeking for talented IT professional to provide technical, operation and procedural support and end-user services to the GSSC office.

This will involve:

• Provide technical, operation and procedural support and end-user services.
• Support network administration, monitoring and managing network connectivity, telephony, videoconferencing, and IT security.

• Accountable for specialized support pertaining to routine ICT activities requiring thorough understanding and application of server, operating system, hardware and software documentation and functionality.

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…

• Completion of Secondary education (high school degree) is a minimum requirement, supplemented with specialized training in telecommunications, electronics or information technology or related fields. Computer-related certification is an asset.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience in the IT infrastructure area, including relevant practical work experience in the area of service / administration of large-scale data, voice and storage networks is required. (A completed university degree (Bachelor’s Degree) from an accredited institution will be counted toward four (4) years of work experience requirements).
• Project management and ITIL certification and utilization would be an advantage.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 operating system and Microsoft Office365 is required.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is an asset.

Remarks:

General Service (GS) staff are locally recruited staff and therefore, candidates are personally responsible for any travel and accommodation arrangements. UNICEF does not facilitate MFA accreditation for locally recruited staff.
