IT Analyst (Platforms and Systems)

Overview

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering or relevant fields.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of Windows Server OS: 2016, 2019 and 2022.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SFTP, SMB, NFS, SSH, and monitoring tools.
• Support knowledge in IIS, WebSphere, Weblogic, Java-based apps, and vendor-based financial applications.
• Knowledge in MS SQL Server, Oracle DB (all versions).
• Familiarity with VMware Products: vSphere (all versions), SRM & vRealize operations.
• Proficiency in automation tools like Powershell, Ansible, Python, and Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of Azure Administration & Services, including Networking and virtual machines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship

The position of IT Analyst (Platforms and Systems) is assigned to the Infrastructure and Technology Division within the Information Technology Department. You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.

You will report to the designated International Staff.

Your Role

As an IT Analyst (Platforms and Systems), you will be responsible for establishing, installing, configuring, administering, and maintaining diverse IT infrastructure technologies and Financial Application support.

You will:

Windows Server 2016 and 2019 Support

· Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2016 and 2019 operating systems.

· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal server functionality.

· Apply patches, updates, and security configurations to maintain system integrity.

· Collaborate with the IT team to plan and implement server upgrades and migrations.

Active Directory and DNS Management

· Administer Active Directory services, including user account management, group policies, and security settings.

· Manage and troubleshoot DNS configurations to ensure seamless and efficient network communication.

· Implement and maintain Active Directory best practices for security and compliance.

Azure Cloud Technologies

· Deploy, configure, and manage Azure virtual machines and services.

· Implement and optimize Azure Active Directory for cloud-based identity management.

· Monitor and optimize Azure resources for performance, cost, and security.

Financial Applications Support

· Provide technical support for financial applications hosted on Windows servers, including IIS, Java-based, and vendor-specific applications.

· Collaborate with application developers and vendors to resolve issues, apply updates, and implement enhancements.

· Ensure high availability and performance of financial applications.

Infrastructure Automation

· Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or other scripting languages to streamline repetitive tasks.

· Implement infrastructure-as-code practices to automate provisioning and configuration management.

· Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate infrastructure automation into the overall development and deployment pipeline

Security and Compliance

· Implement security best practices for Windows servers and cloud environments.

· Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies.

· Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.

· Maintain and support high availability and the Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures for financial systems and support the DR test and coordinate with other infrastructure teams during DR test drills.

Qualifications

You will need:

· Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering or relevant fields. Alternatively, a university degree in related fields combined with additional relevant professional experience can be considered.

· At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.

· With administration and technical support knowledge and experience in:

· Windows Server OS : 2016, 2019 and 2022

· Infrastructure technologies: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SFTP, SMB, NFS, SSH and any monitoring tools,

· Financial Applications: IIS, WebSphere, Weblogic, Java based apps and or any vendor-based financial application support. It's good to have below applications experiences but not mandatory.

· Summit, Numerix Oneview, Bloomberg FX Rates, Refinitiv Deal Tracker & Analyzer, FIS Intellimatch, Investment, Risk and Settlements Application, Credit Risk Management System, Treasury Risk Management System, Point-of-Sale Systems

· Databases: Its good to have some of the database knowledge on how applications use such MS SQL Server, Oracle DB, (all versions) but not mandatory

· VMware Products: vSphere (all versions), SRM & vRealize operations

· Automation: Powershell , Ansible, Python and Azure Devops

· Cloud Technologies: Azure Administration & Services, Networking, virtual machines, other services in Azure such PaaS, Blob,

· Sound understanding of networking protocols and processes including cybersecurity.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is required.
