Are you an experienced researcher with professional research Grant writing skills? CAEPA is looking for online volunteers with experience in research design for projects on Innovative Responses to Intimate Partner Violence in Humanitarian Settings. The Project will also be expected to gather evidence on the indicative effectiveness of the response interventions, and provide clear learnings which could inform other IPV interventions. CAEPA will provide information to enable volunteers write winning research proposals based on each donor requirements and format. Online volunteers won't be asked to submit fundraising requests or to engage in direct negotiations with donors. Our organization will be responsible for submitting finished research proposals to donor organizations. Volunteers will work with CAEPA Director who will provide them with drafts for review and strengthening. Communication will be regularly through emails and whatsapp. A certificate of appreciation will be issued once

Gender equality and the advancement of women
IPV is one of the most prevalent forms of gender-based violence (GBV) in humanitarian settings. Research has consistently found that prevalence rates of IPV perpetrated against women and girls in conflict-affected settings are higher than rates of non-partner sexual violence. This Innovation Challenge aims to support the development of innovative IPV response interventions that meet the needs of and maintain the safety and security of women and girls in humanitarian settings in Cameroon
Volunteers: 2 needed
6-10 hours per week / 6 weeks
Interested volunteer must have excellent research grant proposal writing skills as online volunteers will have to express complex ideas in a simple language. Experience with proposal writing especially on violence against women, or feminism can be considered advantages.
